Hayden Planetarium Takeover!
Our current topic for our district programs is: “Resolved: The United States should substantially increase exploration in Outer Space.” In order to help our students learn more and gain personal insights, we organized a trip for them to the Hayden Planetarium. 🚀
Here’s what our District 16 liaison, Katie Vitale, had to say post trip: “The debaters walked away with several new pro arguments that they’re excited about and some very cool glow-in-the-dark t-shirts, and I am confident that this experience will give them a leg up at our March tournament. So grateful that our students were able to take advantage of this amazing opportunity.” This is exactly what we were hoping for–such an awesome day!
