Debate Club Registration is Open!
Have you ever debated with your student and thought 😮? If so, they may be a great fit for the New York City Urban Debate League’s remote Sunday morning Debate Club! Debate Club is a fun way for students to hone critical thinking and public speaking skills during the school year. Sessions run on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-11:30am in our online classrooms. Students are placed in labs with other debaters of their same age and experience level where they practice debate skills and prep cases on current, politically relevant topics. Each session concludes with personal reflection and a fun tournament. *All proceeds from Debate Club tuition funds programming in Title 1 schools throughout the city.
