Congratulations to Julio & Rajendra for qualifying to the Tournament of Champions!!!!!

<p>&nbsp;</p><p>A huge shout out to to Julio Cordero and Rajendra Sing of Leadership and Public Service High School!&nbsp; Julio in his high school debate career (not including is incredible middle school debate career) has debated in 48 rounds of debate at 23 tournaments!&nbsp; And this year made the USA Debate Team which includes some of the top debaters in the nation!&nbsp; Rajendra has debated in 47 rounds of debate at 23 tournaments… also not including his middle school career!&nbsp; Their team has won numerous awards through their high school years including at the Harvard, Westchester, NYCUDL tournaments and more!&nbsp; But more important than winning – Julio &amp; Raj are just great debaters – always supporting fellow debaters, always giving back to the community, always judging and supporting younger debaters at middle school tournaments, always returning back to their middle school to support debate. Also shout outs go to their first coach, Mr. Tyler Beattie of PS 161, fellow teammates and the NYC Travel Team and all the debaters and coaches. Congrats! Good Luck at TOCs!&nbsp;</p><!–more–><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The Tournament of Champions</strong><span>&nbsp;</span>(TOC) is a national high school debate tournament held at the<span>&nbsp;</span><a href=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Kentucky” title=”University of Kentucky”>University of Kentucky</a><span>&nbsp;</span>every year on the last weekend in April. The Tournament is considered the national championship of the “National Circuit
