When students learn to question, research, and advocate, they begin to see beyond the boundaries of their neighborhoods, their classrooms, and even their own expectations.
Our new mission reflects that vision:

Through debate, students learn to navigate complex issues, connect across differences, and imagine their place in a bigger world. They start to see themselves as scholars, changemakers, and citizens with a voice that matters — not just in tournaments, but everywhere their ideas can make an impact.
That’s why our 2025–2026 Giving Tuesday campaign theme is “Opening New Worlds.” Because the true measure of debate isn’t a trophy — it’s the new possibilities our students discover along the way.
