How We Support You:

  • Topic Options:
  • Middle School: Chooses between Public Forum and Parliamentary resolutions created by the NYCUDL, geared toward topics that relate to students in the League.
  • High School: Chooses between League and National topics. League topics are written by the NYCUDL and tailored to the students, while National topics are selected by the NSDA.
  • Weekly professional learning sessions for coaches 
  • Option of League and National Topic
  • League Topic: Resolution made by the NYCUDL that is specifically geared towards tackling topics that directly relate to students in our league.
  • National Topic: Selected by the NSDA
  • “Falling for Debate” workshop in October to kick off the year 
  • Monthly Saturday tournaments November-March 
  • Championship Tournament in April
