We recently hosted two District 15 tournaments in Brooklyn — one elementary and one middle school — serving 186 students through this growing partnership. Huge thanks to our hosts at PS 456 for opening their doors and helping make these tournaments possible.
We were also honored to welcome NYS Senator Zellnor Y. Myrie 米维 who took time to visit the tournament, observe rounds, and connect with students. A champion for public education and a bold voice in city and state politics, Senator Myrie brought his unwavering commitment to youth and learning directly into the debate space. A special shout-out to Ava and Kyrpa, our Bergen County Academies interns, for supporting their very first tournament with us this semester — we’re so glad to have you on the team!
