District 8 middle school debaters were back in action for their second tournament of the year, hosted at MS 301 in the Bronx! A big thank you to our hosts for welcoming 166 students from across the neighborhood for a day of debate, learning, and thoughtful dialogue.
Students tackled a timely topic on the benefits and harms of generative AI in the United States. From innovation and economic impact to concerns about safety, misinformation, and regulation, debaters explored both sides of an issue shaping national conversations right now. Proud of these students for the preparation we saw in every round.
