Ask the Geneticist: Dr. Lisa Schimmenti visits our debaters
Our MSQI students will be debating genetic testing at their tournament on May 6th. In order to help them dig deeper into the resolution, we had a visit yesterday from Dr. Lisa Schimmenti, pediatric geneticist from the Mayo Clinic. Over 100 debaters logged on to learn more and get their genetic testing questions answered. Debaters left the talk with renewed excitement and nuanced understanding, and we can’t wait to see how it plays out at the tournament next weekend.
