Another Great D16 Tournament in the Books!
Yesterday was another incredible tournament day for the energetic, brilliant debaters of District 16 and their hard-working coaches. Alongside our generous hosts, Principal Sharon Odwin and PS 308 Clara Caldwell in Bed-Stuy, we welcomed 157 students who debated whether or not colleges should pay their student athletes. We’re so grateful to Superintendent Brendan Mims and Councilmember Chi Ossé who spent the day with us supporting the tournament and encouraging the debaters. Congratulations to all the incredible students who rose to the challenge yesterday. You inspire us!
