Inaugural Cross District Championships

We wanted to offer championship tournaments to the debaters in our District Programs this year in order to create more chances to debate and bring each of their season’s to a more exciting culmination. We imagined a Cross District Tournament where the students from District 7, 9, 15, and 16 could all be together with making new friends and finding new opponents. With the help of two incredible partnering law firms, we were finally able to make it happen!

On May 31, the generous lawyers at Morrison & Forester brought the middle schoolers in our District Programming to their offices for the Inaugural Middle School Cross District Tournament. The MoFo team also served as judges. The very next day we traveled to the offices of White & Case where our elementary schoolers got to have their big tournament day. Thank you to both law firms for the support. These championships were such a great experience for these debaters!
