First Practice of the NYC Travel Team! 

<p><span>So this Saturday was historical for the debut of the NYC Travel Team Practice!&nbsp; What a magical and inspiring day! While we have always had a Travel Team, this is the first year where every NYC high school that is eligible can participate on the Travel Team. For the first time we have monthly practices at our office where all students work together to prepare for upcoming Travel Tournaments.&nbsp;<span>&nbsp;</span></span></p><!–more–><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span>We are so thankful for incredible former debaters who are now career professionals dedicate their Saturday to coaching our students. We are so honored that alumni (some who have already started college or starting college this week) have dedicated their weekend to sharing their passion for debate!&nbsp; Our office is open all day from 9:30am – whenever practice ends on Saturdays and yesterday we had debates going on until the late evening! Good luck to our Travel Team at their first tournament at Yale University!&nbsp; We have a morning tour of Yale University with the Admissions Office and then debates all day Friday and Saturday. Good Luck Everyone!&nbsp;</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Travel Team practices are open to all NYC Urban Debate League Schools and Students. Students must be in good standing and have at least one year of debate experience in the Urban Debate League to be Varsity.
